Genesis Booster Pack V.1

New postby Clainzer » Sun, 9th Aug 2009 15:14

Hi there,
im working on this pack for a whole month,
and now the time has come to show it up,
i really whised a baryonyx o an oviraptor for my park,
so i decided to make them and some more Dinosaurs.
here they are! Im very proud to can present the Pack here, it tooks
me weeks of work.

Image

The Pack will include 8 completely new
Dinosaurs to your JPOG and a new Velociraptor skin.
The Dinosaurs are using the existing models and sounds.
but they have different Skins,
and they will also act differently.

Updates
Im Working now on Version 2.0
it will Contains:
Coelophysis galli -model (carnivorus of course)
Suchomimus with Spino model
Changing Barynyx name to Irritator
New Skin for Protoceratops
probably anew Carnivore Food Dispenser
(if i find out how to MST a goat ...

Icluded Dinos are:

Giganotosaurus

Image

Carnotaurus

Image

Saltasaurus

Image

-

Oviraptor

Image

ingamescreen:
Image

-small herbivore
-will act like an galli but
will not pack with them.

[screen]

Protoceratops

Image

Mononykus

Image

-acts like an dryo, packs with them.

-

Iguanodon

Image
-acts like an Ourano, packs with them.

Baryonyx

Image

Velociraptor Skin:

the male is above

Instalation:

first of all BACKUP your files!
then, Copy the Data Folder out of the .Zip file and place it in your
JPOG folder wich is loacated in
C:/Universal interactive/Blue Tonuge Software/Jurassic Park Operation Genesis/JPOG/
click yes when it says to overwrite

Known Issues:

The Dinosaurs are using the Dead Skins
for example the carnotaurus have the Dead skin of the allo,
because of this the new dinos:
-will have the alive Skin in the Hatchery
(but when they came out they have theyr normal skin)
-when the new Dinosaur die, the skin will return
to the alive skin
-the Pack is not compatible to mods or Skinpacks wich changes the following files:
Dinolist.ini, Eng.txt, and FlsHunt.ini and the
.TML files where the Skins are located.
-The Baryonyx have an small but ugly gap on the Back.
-a weird bug: the skins will only show up, when turn reflective waters on.
-The Iguanodon will look like the Ouranosaurus in the Hatchery,
the same bug has the Coelophysis but he will look like the cerato.

if you found other bugs please PM me!

and, do not use my skins for your own mods/skinpacks withoud my agreement!

They look good but the protoceratops looks too similar to the normal skin. Some of them have bits of the original skin left unchanged. Those could do with a colour change to fit with the rest of the skin.

That Oviraptor is Amazing! :iria: You know how to make Dilophosaurus mods. All the other skins are good, but not impressive. I do like the bumps on the back of the Carno though.

thanks for your replies!

@ Ceratosaurus
i know, but the spino is too big and we cant change the modell size :x3:

@Baryonyx
i used for every skin *except the Oviraptor*
the textures of the normal jpog Dinosaurs,
because i want to keep the stil of Jpog,
a completely new texture will maybe not look good.
but your'e right the Protoceratops and some other Skins,
need a bit more work.

i also found out that i have not added Coelophysis to the Pack :x3:
-so thanks for your replies im working now on Version 2.0

Hi, I love the skins!! Love the Mononykus and Giga!!

I also have a question, I don't know if you'll know it though:

How can I add skins made by another user to a NEW dinosaur? I have a Tarbosaurus, but I want to add a new skin to it, so it's not the same as the T-rex...

What I mean is,I installed JPOG again *I do this so I can play multiple games of JPOG* , Downloaded G.E.P. V.2, I downloaded this. Put it where it belonged, Changed all settings to High, Started Game, Made 1 Galli, Did the Isla Muerte Cheat, Hatched another Galli, It came walking out of the Hatchery as a Zombie... Waited... It started running Around... Still a Zombie. I need helpz =(
